Stretch selection

08 steel is the main representative. Generally, the cold die series such as 08Al, 08, 08F, 10, 15, 20 are used for the drawing die. For the designer, a reasonable selection of materials has made the die half successful.

1). Mechanical properties of the material (falling strength --- elastic deformation; tensile strength --- plastic deformation; elongation coefficient; section shrinkage).

6). The smoothness and lubrication conditions, clearances, etc. of the stretched working surface.

7). Stretching speed.

If cracks appear in the test mold, you can try to apply a little lubricant (rapeseed oil, soapy water) to the lower mold or cover a layer of film on the surface of the concave mold to achieve a certain effect.

Proper annealing and heat treatment can improve the plasticity of the material, which can reduce the parts that are stretched multiple times. After each stretch, the phenomenon of hardening will occur, and the plasticity will be prone to various stretching problems.
